Code of Conduct

THE BASICS

Consent is required. Ask before touching a person, their gear, collar, leash, hood, toys, or other belongings.

Pet play is not automatic consent. Being collared, leashed, on all fours, in pet space, or wearing pet gear does not give anyone permission to touch, command, or physically interact with someone.

Consent can be withdrawn at any time. If someone says no, stop, or otherwise withdraws consent, stop immediately.

Respect boundaries. Do not assume titles, roles, relationships, or previous interactions give you authority over another person.

Ask before joining play. Do not enter another Handler/pet interaction without permission.

Keep play safe. Keep leashes, toys, and floor-level activity out of walkways and follow instructions from event hosts and Toolbox staff.

This is a social pet event, not a sex party. Explicit sexual activity is not permitted.

Drink responsibly. Intoxication does not excuse boundary violations and may affect a person's ability to consent.

Be aware that photography may occur. Toolbox is a public venue, and attendees, other patrons, or members of the public may take photographs or video. Event organizers cannot guarantee that you will not be photographed or recorded. If maintaining anonymity or controlling how you are publicly presented is important to you, you are responsible for taking appropriate precautions, such as covering your face or avoiding personally identifying clothing, gear, or information.

Respect privacy. Do not deliberately disclose another person's legal name, private information, relationships, or other identifying information without permission.

Respect the venue. Follow Toolbox policies and instructions from bar staff.

Hosts or Safety Team may intervene. Unsafe, disruptive, harassing, discriminatory, or nonconsensual behavior may result in removal from the event or venue.

Consent. Respect. Safety. Community.
